Ronald McDonald house: click here - Provides housing for families whose child under age 21 is receiving treatment at Cincinnati Children's. One of the largest Ronald McDonald houses is right across the street from the hospital.  There are short term rooms for up to 4 nights or long term rooms. There is no requirement to pay, as this is a charity organization.  There are usually waiting lists and there is some paperwork to fill out in advance.
